Engineering Manager
Technical Lead responsible for guiding a development team to design, build, and deliver scalable Java‑based microservice back‑ends and React front‑ends, ensuring architectural best practices and timely high‑quality releases.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross‑functional team in the full software lifecycle for Java, microservice, and React applications.
- Define and enforce architectural standards, technical requirements, and coding guidelines.
- Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and microservice components using Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA to deliver features on schedule.
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development and microservice architecture.
- Strong proficiency with React.js and modern front‑end tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes preferred).
- Proven leadership or technical lead experience managing agile development teams.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
