Engineering Manager
Lead a high‑performing infrastructure team, architecting scalable, secure cloud solutions on AWS, orchestrating containerized workloads with Kubernetes, and driving automation through CI/CD pipelines and Terraform. Deliver resilient, compliant systems that support LifeLabs’ diagnostic services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability and performance for diagnostic workloads.
- Lead containerization strategy using Docker and Kubernetes, optimizing deployment pipelines and resource utilization.
- Develop and enforce infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, enabling repeatable, auditable environments across dev, test, and production.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD) to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to integrate monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, mentor team members, and conduct code reviews and architecture discussions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM).
- Proven track record managing Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration at scale.
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and proficiency in Terraform for IaC.
- Experience with CI/CD tooling and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
