About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct linear and nonlinear static analyses in OptiStruct and Abaqus to support conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design of off‑highway equipment systems.
- Perform dynamic simulations and fatigue/durability studies to predict component life and performance under operational loads.
- Collaborate closely with design, testing, and manufacturing teams to translate engineering requirements into accurate FEA models.
- Interpret and validate simulation results, providing actionable insights and recommendations for design optimization.
- Mentor junior analysts, ensuring best practices in model setup, meshing, and result interpretation.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in finite element analysis with strong proficiency in Abaqus and OptiStruct.
- Deep understanding of linear, nonlinear, and dynamic analysis techniques, including fatigue and durability assessment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering groups.
- Ability to work independently, delivering high‑quality analyses with minimal supervision.
