Engineering Manager
Lead the design, development, and governance of enterprise data platforms, driving data engineering solutions on Azure and Snowflake while mentoring a team of analysts and engineers.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain scalable data platforms on Azure and Snowflake to support analytics and AI initiatives.
- Lead a team of data engineers and analysts, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Design and implement robust ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, and modern data integration tools.
- Establish data governance, security, and quality standards across the enterprise data ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data models and actionable insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in data engineering and platform development, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment.
- Deep expertise with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) and Snowflake data warehousing.
- Strong programming skills in Python and advanced SQL for data transformation and modeling.
- Proven ability to design and govern enterprise‑wide data architectures, including data modeling, security, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring technical teams.
