Lead the design and delivery of scalable Java microservices on OpenShift, driving CI/CD pipelines and cross‑functional collaboration to meet enterprise data platform objectives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high‑performance Java microservices using Spring and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment on OpenShift.
- Collaborate with product owners, data engineers, and DevOps to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide development teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to deliver reliable, scalable services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development with Spring ecosystem.
- Proven expertise in microservices architecture and container orchestration on OpenShift.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) and automated testing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
