Engineering Manager
Lead engineering and AML domain expertise to build a next‑generation AML and fraud prevention platform powered by Graph Neural Networks for European banks and fintechs.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable AML and fraud detection services using Python and Graph Neural Network models.
- Lead a cross‑functional team, mentoring engineers and ensuring high code quality and performance.
- Collaborate with product and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements (AMLR, AMLD) into technical solutions.
- Design and maintain data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and model deployment pipelines.
- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software engineering experience with strong Python skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Graph Neural Networks or related machine learning frameworks.
- Deep understanding of AML, fraud prevention, and financial crime regulations.
- Proven leadership in technical teams, with ability to balance hands‑on coding and strategic direction.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a hybrid, on‑site environment.
