Implementation Engineer
Technical Integration Engineer responsible for designing, testing, and integrating spacecraft subsystems and software using C++, Python, and Linux environments to support NASA deep‑space missions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate hardware and software components for spacecraft and ground‑support systems.
- Implement and maintain integration test plans, automated test scripts, and validation procedures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to resolve interface issues and ensure compliance with mission requirements.
- Manage configuration control using Git and maintain documentation for all integration activities.
- Support real‑time troubleshooting during system tests and flight operations, providing rapid root‑cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Computer Engineering or related field with 3+ years of integration experience.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python programming for test automation and data analysis.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command‑line tools.
- Experience with version‑control systems (Git) and continuous‑integration workflows.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
