About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and oversee integration architecture for space, hypersonic, and undersea defense platforms.
- Lead development of AI/ML models and simulation tools to enhance mission assurance and decision‑making.
- Coordinate cross‑functional engineering teams, ensuring compliance with system engineering standards and security requirements.
- Drive adoption of cloud computing (e.g., AWS) for data processing, model training, and collaborative development.
- Mentor senior engineers, conduct technical reviews, and manage risk mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of systems integration experience in defense or aerospace, with a strong background in C++, Python, and MATLAB.
- Proficiency in Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architecture frameworks (e.g., SysML, DoDAF).
- Hands‑on experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions for mission‑critical applications.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or equivalent) for large‑scale simulation and data analytics.
- Proven leadership ability to guide multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
