Systems Engineer
Entry‑level engineer responsible for developing and maintaining information systems that support engineering workflows, including product change management, technical libraries, and data repositories using Python, SQL, and PLM tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, and maintain engineering information systems and databases to support product change initiatives.
- Implement and support Engineering Standard Work (ESW) and Value Package Introduction (VPI) processes.
- Manage technical information libraries and data repositories, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate functional requirements into system enhancements.
- Document procedures, create user guides, and provide training on system usage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and automation.
- Experience or familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and engineering change management processes.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
