Lead complex defense aircraft projects, driving system integration, engineering validation, and cross‑functional coordination while ensuring compliance with military standards and delivering high‑performance solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering definition, integration, and validation of defense aircraft systems across international programs.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams—including structures, propulsion, avionics, and software—to ensure seamless system interfaces and performance compliance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration baselines, and compliance matrices in line with MIL‑STD and other defense regulations.
- Manage project schedules, risk assessments, and resource allocation to meet cost, quality, and delivery targets.
- Act as the primary technical liaison with customers, suppliers, and certification authorities, providing status reports and technical solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering and integration for defense or aerospace programs.
- Proven project management skills, including risk mitigation, schedule control, and stakeholder communication.
- Strong knowledge of defense standards (MIL‑STD, DO‑254, ARP4754) and experience with CAD/Modeling tools such as CATIA or SolidWorks.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities in a multicultural, international environment.
