About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and ship robust microservices using Node.js and Python on AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead a distributed team of backend engineers, fostering best practices in code quality, testing, and continuous delivery.
- Collaborate with product, data, and DevOps teams to define feature requirements, technical specifications, and release plans.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and infrastructure as code to accelerate deployment cycles.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote a culture of learning and innovation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js and Python.
- Strong background in AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
- Proven experience building and scaling microservices architectures.
- Hands‑on expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
