Software Engineer
Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of production systems, ensuring seamless integration of PLCs, industrial automation, and process controls while driving continuous improvement and project delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain production line automation using PLCs and industrial control systems.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define process requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement and troubleshoot control logic, ensuring high reliability and safety compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and documentation for system upgrades and new installations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.
- Proven experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen‑Bradley) and industrial automation.
- Strong understanding of process control, safety standards, and production line integration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
