Software Engineer
Technical Drafting Officer responsible for creating detailed architectural and engineering drawings for healthcare infrastructure projects using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM, ensuring compliance with standards and facilitating project delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and detailed architectural and engineering drawings for healthcare facility projects using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and project managers to integrate design intent into technical drawings.
- Apply BIM standards and workflows to support coordination, clash detection and model management.
- Ensure drawings meet regulatory, safety and quality requirements for public health facilities.
- Maintain and update drawing libraries, templates and standards documentation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical drafting for healthcare or similar infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and BIM processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high‑quality drawings under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of Australian building codes and health facility design standards is an advantage.
