Lead the development and continuous improvement of industrial hygiene and safety engineering strategies for a major client, providing technical guidance, risk assessments, and compliance solutions to mitigate workplace hazards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical advisor to the client, shaping industrial hygiene and safety engineering roadmaps.
- Design, implement, and refine hazard identification, evaluation, and control programs across multiple facilities.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, exposure monitoring, and compliance audits aligned with OSHA and industry standards.
- Lead cross‑functional project teams, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables for safety initiatives.
- Develop data‑driven reports and dashboards to track performance metrics and recommend corrective actions.
- Mentor junior engineers and hygiene specialists, fostering technical growth and best‑practice adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CIH, CSP) preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial hygiene and safety engineering, with a proven track record of leading large‑scale programs.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
- Excellent analytical abilities and proficiency in data analysis tools to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
