About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute fire engineering strategies aligned with the Building Safety Act and BCAR requirements.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the design, analysis, and implementation of fire safety solutions for large‑scale building projects.
- Oversee risk assessment, fire modelling, and compliance documentation to meet regulatory and client standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate fire safety into overall project design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in fire engineering and building safety, with a proven track record in complex projects.
- Deep knowledge of the Building Safety Act, BCAR processes, and relevant fire safety codes.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in fire modelling tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Relevant engineering qualification and professional registration preferred.
