About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments for large‑scale renewable energy, water and infrastructure projects.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, planners and auditors to produce high‑quality assessment reports.
- Develop and implement project strategies that meet regulatory requirements and client sustainability goals.
- Engage with government agencies, stakeholders and community groups to secure approvals and address concerns.
- Mentor senior staff, promote best practices, and drive continuous improvement in assessment methodologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting with a focus on impact assessment.
- Proven track record managing complex, high‑visibility projects in renewable energy or water sectors.
- Deep knowledge of Australian environmental legislation and approval processes.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental science, engineering or related discipline.
