Data Engineer
Lead the design and maintenance of data pipelines and documentation for maintenance processes, leveraging Python, SQL, and AWS to ensure reliable, scalable data flows and clear, up‑to‑date technical manuals.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines that ingest, transform, and load maintenance data into cloud data warehouses.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to document data flows, schema definitions, and maintenance procedures in clear, user‑friendly manuals.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and alerting to ensure high data integrity and availability.
- Optimize existing data processes for performance, cost, and scalability on AWS services such as S3, Redshift, and Glue.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance teams on data usage and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a data engineer or similar role, with strong Python and SQL skills.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS data services (S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL design patterns, and data quality principles.
- Excellent written communication skills for creating detailed technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
