About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a subject‑matter expert for Managed File Transfer (MFT) platforms, providing technical support and guidance to customers.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to secure file transfer, network connectivity, and system performance.
- Maintain and update comprehensive documentation, including troubleshooting guides, configuration manuals, and best‑practice references.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement security enhancements, patch management, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem reviews to improve service reliability.
Requirements
- Proven experience with MFT solutions such as IBM Sterling, Axway, or similar.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (servers, firewalls, VPNs) and secure file transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze logs, network traces, and system metrics.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for creating documentation and interacting with customers.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools is a plus.
