About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and validate power system models for transmission and distribution networks, incorporating renewable generation and storage assets.
- Perform load flow, short‑circuit, stability, and contingency analyses to support design and operational studies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create technical specifications, feasibility studies, and cost‑benefit assessments for new energy projects.
- Utilize Python and MATLAB scripts to automate data processing, simulation workflows, and result reporting.
- Support SCADA integration and real‑time monitoring solutions to enhance grid reliability and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in power system analysis, renewable energy integration, or grid modeling.
- Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for simulation and data analysis.
- Hands‑on experience with SCADA systems and power system software (e.g., PSS®E, DIgSILENT, ETAP).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, effective communication, and ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams.
