About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy Databricks workspaces on client environments, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- Develop scalable data pipelines using Apache Spark, Python, and SQL to ingest, transform, and load large datasets.
- Integrate Databricks solutions with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and existing data warehouses or lakehouses.
- Provide on‑site technical guidance, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for data engineering teams.
- Conduct knowledge‑transfer sessions and create documentation to enable client self‑sufficiency.
Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark in production environments.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and analytics.
- Solid understanding of cloud services (AWS or Azure) and data storage concepts.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work directly with client stakeholders on site.
- Effective communication skills in French and English.
