Technical Consultant specializing in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) who will operate, configure, and fine‑tune DLP platforms, manage policies and exceptions, and support security tooling across on‑prem and cloud environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the enterprise DLP platform 24/7, ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Develop, test, and maintain DLP policies, rules, and exception processes aligned with business and compliance requirements.
- Investigate DLP alerts, perform root‑cause analysis, and coordinate remediation with incident response teams.
- Integrate DLP with SIEM, endpoint protection, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) to provide unified visibility.
- Automate routine tasks and reporting using PowerShell and Python scripts.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to junior staff and other security stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with enterprise DLP solutions (e.g., Symantec, McAfee, Forcepoint).
- Strong understanding of security concepts, data classification, and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, PCI‑DSS, ISO 27001).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python for automation and data parsing.
- Experience integrating security tools with SIEM platforms and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced 24/7 operations model, and strong communication skills.
