Technical Business Analyst driving warehouse software enhancements, data analysis, and process automation using SQL, Python, and Agile practices to optimize e‑commerce fulfillment operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with warehouse operations and engineering teams to define, design, and implement software enhancements for inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping workflows.
- Analyze large datasets from WMS, ERP, and IoT sources to identify bottlenecks, generate insights, and recommend process improvements.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, data models, and Python scripts for reporting, automation, and integration tasks.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria within an Agile framework.
- Conduct user acceptance testing, create documentation, and train end‑users on new system features and automated processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in e‑commerce, logistics, or warehouse environments.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data extraction, analysis, and automation.
- Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related workflow optimization.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, creating user stories, and managing backlog items.
- Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and non‑technical stakeholders and drive consensus on solutions.
