Technical Business Analyst responsible for analysing service delivery processes, designing data models, and translating requirements into actionable solutions using SQL and Agile practices to support council transformation initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse current service delivery processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain data models and reporting solutions to support decision‑making.
- Gather, document, and translate functional and technical requirements for IT and business teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure solutions meet user needs and align with strategic goals.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, support sprint planning, and track progress against delivery milestones.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business analysis within a public sector or similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and data modelling techniques.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and related tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation and translate complex concepts for non‑technical audiences.
