Design and lead the implementation of edge infrastructure solutions, leveraging cloud platforms, container orchestration, and infrastructure‑as‑code to enable scalable, secure, and high‑performance services for a large retail ecosystem.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and drive the end‑to‑end design of edge computing platforms across multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Define and implement infrastructure‑as‑code standards using Terraform to ensure repeatable, automated deployments.
- Lead the integration of Kubernetes and container‑based workloads, establishing CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.
- Collaborate with product, security, and operations teams to embed scalability, resilience, and compliance into all edge solutions.
- Mentor engineering squads, conduct technical reviews, and champion best practices for cloud native and edge technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing and delivering large‑scale cloud or edge infrastructure.
- Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS or Azure services and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Proficiency in Terraform (or similar IaC tools) and modern CI/CD frameworks (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
- Deep understanding of networking, security, and performance considerations for edge deployments.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of influencing cross‑functional teams.
