Software Engineer
Technical Analyst responsible for gathering, analysing and visualising data to support business decisions, creating reports and dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements using SQL, Excel and Power BI.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean and transform data from multiple sources to support operational and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
- Write and optimise SQL queries for data extraction, validation and analysis.
- Work closely with business units to understand requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide actionable insights.
- Document data models, processes and analytical methodologies to ensure repeatability and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros) and Power BI for data visualisation.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and requirement gathering.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid office environment, with occasional travel for meetings and events.
