About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from federal economic sources using SQL and Python.
- Develop statistical models and econometric analyses to forecast economic indicators.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations (Tableau/Power BI) to communicate findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Collaborate with economists and policy teams to translate analytical results into policy recommendations.
- Document methodologies, maintain reproducible code repositories, and ensure data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python (pandas, NumPy, statsmodels) and SQL for data manipulation.
- Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with econometric modeling.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present complex data clearly.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
