Technical Analyst supporting equity front‑office applications for ETF and GED desks, bridging trading teams and engineers, translating business needs into user stories, validating releases, and ensuring functional solutions meet market requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ETF and GED trading desks to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Translate requirements into detailed, executable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with engineering teams to prioritize backlog items and ensure timely delivery.
- Validate delivered functionality through testing, user acceptance, and post‑implementation reviews.
- Maintain documentation of functional specifications, test cases, and release notes.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of equity markets, ETFs, and GED products.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.
- Experience with Agile frameworks and tools such as Jira or similar.
- Excellent communication skills to act as liaison between traders and developers.
- Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and perform functional testing.
