Technical Account Specialist who partners with merchants to implement and optimize omnichannel commerce solutions, leveraging SaaS payment platforms, APIs, and CRM tools to drive adoption and resolve technical challenges.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for merchant accounts, guiding them through onboarding, integration, and ongoing optimization of the commerce platform.
- Design, configure, and troubleshoot API and payment integrations across online, in‑store, and mobile channels.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and support teams to prioritize and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to merchant operations.
- Provide proactive health checks, performance monitoring, and recommendations to improve merchant ROI and product adoption.
- Document best practices, create technical guides, and deliver training sessions for merchants and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in SaaS, payments, or e‑commerce technical support or account management.
- Strong understanding of API protocols (REST, JSON, webhooks) and experience integrating payment gateways.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and data analysis tools to track merchant health and usage metrics.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
