About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the trusted technical advisor for enterprise accounts, guiding adoption and optimization of the full Datadog suite.
- Design and implement monitoring, alerting, and dashboard solutions for cloud (AWS) and container (Kubernetes) environments.
- Develop custom integrations and automation scripts using Python and Datadog APIs to meet specific customer use cases.
- Conduct deep‑dive performance analyses, troubleshoot issues, and provide proactive recommendations that translate operational data into business value.
- Collaborate with sales, support, and product teams to ensure seamless onboarding, renewal, and expansion of services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in IT operations, cloud monitoring, or a similar technical consulting role.
- Strong expertise with AWS services, Kubernetes orchestration, and observability tools, preferably Datadog.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and RESTful API integration for automation and data extraction.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of influencing senior technical and business leaders.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business outcomes.
