About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy predictive models that enhance clinical decision support and care coordination across the patient journey.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to architect scalable pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and transforming clinical and administrative data.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analyses to validate model performance, ensuring compliance with clinical accuracy standards.
- Translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for product, engineering, and clinical stakeholders.
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field with 7+ years of industry experience.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Deep understanding of clinical data standards (e.g., ICD, CPT, HL7) and experience working with EHR datasets.
- Strong statistical background and experience with A/B testing, hypothesis testing, and model validation.
- Experience deploying models in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data science.
