Software Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of Speechify’s Web Core Product and Chrome Extension, driving architecture, performance, and user experience using React, TypeScript, and Node.js to empower millions of users with seamless text‑to‑speech functionality.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and ship scalable, high‑performance web and Chrome Extension features that support millions of daily users.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define product vision, prioritize backlog, and deliver on time.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering best practices in code quality, testing, and CI/CD.
- Own end‑to‑end feature development, from research and prototyping to production deployment and monitoring.
- Advocate for accessibility, performance, and security across all web and extension components.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full‑stack web development experience, with deep expertise in React and TypeScript.
- Proven track record building and scaling Chrome Extensions or similar browser extensions.
- Strong background in Node.js, modern build tools, and cloud‑native deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring junior engineers.
- Experience with performance optimization, accessibility, and security best practices.
