Security Engineer
Lead the design and operation of end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines, integrating security and quality gates across Git, Docker, and Kubernetes environments to accelerate secure software delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, SonarQube, and ArgoCD, ensuring automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Lead the migration of legacy processes to modern DevSecOps practices, integrating security scanning, code quality checks, and compliance controls into every pipeline stage.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to define branching strategies, merge policies, and release management procedures.
- Design and manage containerized application deployments on Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, ECS) and orchestrate rollouts, rollbacks, and canary releases.
- Mentor and coach cross‑functional teams on best practices for Git workflows, pipeline scripting (Groovy), and infrastructure as code.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps with a focus on CI/CD and DevSecOps.
- Deep expertise in Jenkins, GitLab, Nexus, SonarQube, and ArgoCD pipeline development.
- Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud container services (ECS, EKS, AKS).
- Strong scripting skills (Groovy, Bash, Python) and familiarity with IaC tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of driving process improvements.
