Software Engineer
Lead a high‑performing L2 platform support team, driving incident resolution, automation, and reliability for a no‑code customization platform using Python, Java, AWS, and Kubernetes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of L2 support engineers, ensuring timely resolution of complex platform incidents.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools (Python/Java) to streamline incident triage and root‑cause analysis.
- Own on‑call rotation, drive post‑mortems, and implement preventive measures to improve service reliability.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and DevOps teams to enhance platform scalability and performance on AWS and Kubernetes.
- Establish best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident management across the support organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical support or site reliability engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Strong programming skills in Python and Java for automation and tooling.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3) and container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Proven track record of managing incident response, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate cross‑functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
