We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Technical Lead to lead a hands-on engineering pod responsible for delivering robust, scalable, and upgrade-safe Siemens Teamcenter solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise in Teamcenter development, configuration, customization, integrations, and migration with proven experience leading distributed development teams. The role will focus on translating approved solution designs into high-quality technical implementations and driving delivery sprint after sprint within a compressed build window. The Technical Lead will work closely with Solution Architects, functional teams, integration teams, QA, and client stakeholders to ensure technical designs are implemented correctly, efficiently, and in line with Teamcenter upgrade and engineering best practices. The successful candidate should be comfortable remaining hands-on technically while providing engineering leadership, code-quality governance, estimation, sprint planning, technical reviews, and delivery oversight. hands-on Teamcenter engineering leader who can bridge the gap between architecture and implementation. They should be equally comfortable writing/reviewing code, solving complex Teamcenter technical problems, mentoring developers, managing sprint execution, and coordinating with architects and cross-functional teams.
As the Teamcenter Technical Lead, you will own the technical execution of the development pod, ensuring that Teamcenter configurations, customizations, extensions, integrations, and migration components are delivered according to approved architecture and design.
POSITION PURPOSE
Leads the hands-on engineering pod — converting approved designs into high-quality, upgrade-safe Teamcenter configurations, customizations and integrations, sprint after sprint, against a compressed build
window.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — TECHNICAL & DELIVERY
• Lead a distributed configuration and development pod, owning sprint planning, task allocation, estimation and daily execution against build milestones.
• Deliver hands-on BMIDE data model changes, business rules, workflows, ITK/SOA server-side customizations and Active Workspace client extensions.
• Translate technical design documents into detailed low-level designs, ensuring upgrade-safe and standards-compliant implementation patterns.
• Own code quality through peer reviews, coding standards, static analysis, unit test coverage and defect-prevention practices.
• Build and validate integrations with Oracle EBS (OIC), Okta SSO, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Cadence,
Supply Frame, Plant wise MES and AWS EDW.
• Develop and tune migration scripts and utilities for Agile PLM and Oracle PDH extraction,
transformation, load and reconciliation.
• Manage build-to-SIT handover: environment readiness, deployment packages, release notes and configuration management discipline.
• Drive defect triage and fix cycles during SIT, UAT and hypercare with committed turnaround times and clear root-cause analysis.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in queries, workflows, dispatcher services and Active Workspace rendering.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration registers and knowledge assets for support transition.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — STAKEHOLDER & BEHAVIOURAL
• Escalate risks, dependencies and blockers early with quantified schedule impact rather than absorbing slippage silently.
• Mentor senior and junior developers, accelerating ramp-up and building bench depth within the pod.
• Coordinate seamlessly across time zones with onsite architects, test leads and the Customer IT team.
• Demonstrate a strong ownership mindset, accountability and calm problem-solving under aggressive sprint pressure.
• Communicate progress and variance transparently in stand-ups, sprint reviews and weekly governance forums.
