Technical
We are looking for a highly skilled and deeply hands-on Teamcenter Technical Engineer with 7+ years of experience in Teamcenter configuration, customization, development, and integration. The role is responsible for delivering production-grade Teamcenter solutions with speed, precision, and minimal rework. The successful candidate will work across Teamcenter configuration, BMIDE extensions, workflows, server-side development, Active Workspace customization, security, migration, integrations, and performance optimization. The candidate should have strong practical experience in enterprise PLM environments and be capable of independently translating technical requirements into robust, scalable, and upgrade-conscious Teamcenter implementations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — TECHNICAL & DELIVERY
Configure Teamcenter modules — Part and Document Management, BOM, Change Management, Quality, Compliance and Supplier Collaboration — per approved design.
Implement BMIDE data model extensions: business objects, properties, LOVs, naming rules, deep copy, revision rules and display rules.
Develop server-side customizations using ITK, C++/Java, SOA services, extensions, handlers and custom workflow handlers.
Build and extend Active Workspace UI components using Angular/TypeScript, declarative configuration and custom commands.
Design and implement workflow templates, EPM handlers, access manager rules and role-based security configurations.
Develop integration components and adaptors for ERP, MES, MCAD/ECAD, SupplyFrame and EDW, including error handling and retry logic.
Write and execute migration scripts and utilities, support mock migration cycles and resolve reconciliation exceptions.
Prepare and execute unit test cases with evidence, achieving first-time-right handover into SIT.
Debug and fix defects raised in SIT, UAT and hypercare within agreed severity-based turnaround times.
Apply upgrade-safe customization patterns and avoid unnecessary code where OOTB configuration suffices.
Maintain source control hygiene, deployment packages and clear technical documentation for every deliverable.
Optimise performance of queries, structure expansion, workflows and batch utilities against large data volumes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — STAKEHOLDER & BEHAVIOURAL
Communicate progress, blockers and effort variance transparently in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.
Work collaboratively and coachably, with a quality-obsessed mindset and personal accountability for committed sprint scope.
Ask early and precisely when a design is ambiguous, instead of building on assumption.
