The Role
We are seeking a motivated and people-oriented Team Lead to provide guidance and foster growth within one of our engineering teams responsible for developing globally distributed Sophos Labs Intelix cloud services. Sophos Labs Intelix services provide advanced threat intelligence, cloud-based malware analysis, and real-time detection capabilities, empowering organizations to proactively defend against sophisticated cyberattacks.
In this role, you will primarily focus on leadership, strategic thinking, and deliver measurable impacts. Your goal will be to foster an environment where individuals can reach their highest potential by removing obstacles, building trust, encouraging accountability, and driving continuous improvement. You will also play a key role in accelerating AI adoption within your team, offering guidance, support, and exemplary leadership to boost efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
While you don’t need to be the most technically skilled person on the team, it’s important that you collaborate well with technical teams, understand the relevant trade-offs, and help facilitate well-informed engineering decisions.
You will collaborate with engineers, product teams, and other stakeholders, prioritizing clear communication, tangible results, and lasting progress.
