Job Overview
The Team Lead – MSP Implementation & Presales is a senior technical leadership role focused on leading end-to-end technical implementations and providing presales support to drive business growth. The role involves working closely with sales, account management, and engineering teams to oversee solution design, client onboarding, and project delivery across cloud, cybersecurity, networking, and modern workplace technologies. Additionally, the position provides escalation-level oversight to the MSP support function, ensuring high service standards and SLA compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1.Technical Implementation & Delivery
- Lead end-to-end technical implementations for new and existing MSP clients across Client's full service portfolio.
- Own Modern Workplace deployments: Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint.
- Drive Cloud & Infrastructure implementations: Azure Landing Zones, virtual networks, Azure Backup, AWS, and Google Cloud workloads.
- Execute Cybersecurity deployments: Sophos, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender suite, SIEM onboarding, and endpoint protection rollouts.
- Deliver Networking implementations: LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, switching, routing, and firewall configuration (Fortinet, Sophos, Palo Alto, Cisco).
- Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and to Client's quality standards.
2.Presales & Solution Design
- Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team — owning solution design, scoping, and proposal development.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions with prospective clients to identify requirements and map to Client's service offerings.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), effort estimates, technical architecture diagrams, and solution proposals.
- Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements and technical presentations to clients and prospects.
- Review RFPs and tenders, providing accurate technical responses and costing inputs.
- Act as the technical bridge between sales and delivery to ensure solutions are accurately scoped, priced, and deliverable.
3. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of implementation engineers and support specialists.
- Conduct regular 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and technical skills assessments.
- Build upskilling plans aligned to Client's vendor partnerships and service pillars.
