Lead a high‑performing infrastructure and network team, architecting scalable, secure cloud and on‑prem solutions using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Drive automation, performance tuning, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver resilient services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and maintain hybrid cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Lead a team of engineers in implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and monitoring solutions.
- Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to define and enforce best practices for network design and configuration.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including performance tuning, cost optimization, and incident response processes.
- Mentor team members, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure and network engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, Linux networking, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and shell, plus experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
- Proven track record of designing secure, resilient architectures and leading cross‑functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
