Test Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Teamcenter Test Lead with 10+ years of QA experience and strong hands-on expertise in testing PLM / Siemens Teamcenter implementations. The role will lead the quality engineering and testing lifecycle across Teamcenter configuration, customization, integrations, workflows, Active Workspace, migration, security, and performance-related components. The candidate will work closely with Teamcenter developers, solution architects, functional consultants, business users, and project stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases with minimal production defects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding of Teamcenter internals and be capable of validating solutions beyond functional test execution, including BMIDE configurations, workflows, ITK/SOA components, AWC customizations, integrations, data migration, security, and large-volume scenarios.
POSITION PURPOSE
Owns quality assurance end to end — building a risk-based manual test strategy that proves every business process, integration and migrated data set is production-ready before the Big Bang go-live.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — TECHNICAL & DELIVERY
• Define and own the test strategy and test plans for System Integration Testing, regression, smoke
testing and UAT support across all functional tracks.
• Design end-to-end, risk-based manual test scenarios covering Part, Document, BOM, Change,
Quality, Compliance and Supplier Collaboration processes.
• Build and maintain full requirement-to-test-case traceability so that every signed requirement has
demonstrable test evidence.
• Plan and lead integration testing across Oracle EBS (OIC), Okta SSO, SolidEdge, SolidWorks,
Cadence, SupplyFrame, Plantwise MES and AWS EDW.
• Design data migration validation and reconciliation testing for each mock run, including sampling,
completeness and accuracy checks.
• Own defect management end to end — logging, triage, severity/priority assignment, ageing control,
retest and closure governance.
• Coordinate Customer-owned UAT: intake of customer test cases, environment and data readiness,
execution support and rapid defect turnaround.
• Lead regression and smoke test suites for every release drop, protecting stability across a long
parallel build-and-test window.
• Define and publish quality KPIs — test coverage, pass rate, defect density, leakage, reopen rate and
severity trend — in weekly governance reviews.
• Establish entry and exit criteria for each test phase and drive objective go/no-go quality
recommendations for go-live.
• Identify candidates for future test automation and performance testing, building the business case for
scope refinement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES — STAKEHOLDER & BEHAVIOURAL
• Manage a distributed test team, balancing capacity against a compressed and overlapping test
calendar.
• Support hypercare triage, production issue validation and knowledge transfer to the steady-state
support organization.
• Manage stakeholders firmly and raise quality red flags early and factually, even under schedule
pressure.
• Hold objective go/no-go positions in governance forums without being drawn into optimism bias.
