About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop end‑to‑end tax software solutions using modern web technologies and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers to define feature roadmaps, prioritize backlog, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Lead a small engineering team, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring high code quality and performance.
- Integrate tax data feeds, APIs, and reporting modules to deliver accurate, real‑time compliance solutions for clients.
- Partner with data scientists and tax experts to implement advanced analytics and automation for tax calculations and filing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full‑stack development experience, with strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React or similar frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience building scalable cloud‑native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep understanding of tax regulations, compliance reporting, and financial data workflows.
- Proven track record in product development, from concept to launch, with a focus on user experience and market fit.
