Perform verification and validation of satellite subsystems and on‑orbit software, develop test procedures, and analyze results using Python, MATLAB, and C++ to ensure mission‑critical performance for a commercial space communications constellation.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute verification and validation test plans for satellite hardware, software, and on‑orbit payloads.
- Create automated test scripts and data analysis pipelines using Python, MATLAB, and C++.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, and software engineers to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Document test results, generate reports, and track anomalies through resolution.
- Support integration and launch readiness reviews by providing technical evidence of system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in verification and validation of space‑based or high‑reliability systems.
- Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and C++ for test automation and data analysis.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, test methodologies, and spacecraft subsystems.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
