Systems Test Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions for complex aerospace systems, leveraging Python, C++, and embedded test frameworks while supporting top‑secret projects and limited travel.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for embedded aerospace systems using Python and C++.
- Integrate test hardware and software, configure test stations, and ensure repeatable test execution.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to define test requirements, verify system performance, and troubleshoot failures.
- Manage test data, generate reports, and track defects using test management tools.
- Support system verification and validation activities, including compliance with security and safety standards.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of test engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python and C++ for test automation and embedded development.
- Experience with automated test equipment, test stations, and test management tools (e.g., DOORS, JIRA).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast‑paced, mission‑critical environment.
