About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and specify data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and fire suppression systems, to meet performance and reliability targets.
- Integrate building automation and monitoring solutions to optimize energy usage and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT, facilities, and project teams to develop scalable, future‑proof data center architectures.
- Prepare detailed design documents, specifications, and cost estimates for client proposals and project budgets.
- Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and performance analyses to support design decisions.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, ISO) and local regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data center design or building technology systems.
- Proficiency with BIM and design software (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, fire suppression, and building automation systems.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
