As a Systems Software Engineer on the Management Plane team at openai, you will design and develop software systems that enable the management and operation of our large-scale AI platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, reliable, and efficient software systems that meet the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software systems for the management plane, including but not limited to, configuration management, monitoring, and logging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software systems that meet the needs of our users.
- Develop and maintain high-quality, well-documented code that is scalable, reliable, and efficient.
- Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of software systems.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on systems software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, and AWS.
- Experience with machine learning and data analysis is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
