Software Engineer
Design and certify safety‑critical systems for autonomous air and maritime platforms, applying ISO 26262, DO-178C, and advanced risk‑assessment techniques using MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain safety cases and safety plans for autonomous air and maritime platforms.
- Perform hazard analysis, fault tree analysis, and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA) in compliance with ISO 26262 and DO-178C.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems teams to integrate safety requirements into design and verification activities.
- Generate and review safety documentation, including safety requirements, verification reports, and certification evidence.
- Support certification activities with regulatory bodies and provide technical safety expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience applying functional safety standards (ISO 26262, DO-178C) to complex, safety‑critical systems.
- Strong proficiency with safety analysis tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, FTA, and FMEA.
- Programming experience in C/C++ for safety‑critical software development.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary, hybrid teams.
