Software Engineer
Engineer responsible for developing and validating high-fidelity system models and simulations using MATLAB/Simulink and C++, driving design decisions and ensuring performance against mission requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain complex system models and simulations in MATLAB/Simulink to support product development and testing.
- Translate system requirements into accurate, reusable model components and validate them against real-world data.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate simulation outputs into design reviews, risk assessments, and performance analyses.
- Develop automated test harnesses and scripts in Python/C++ to run large‑scale simulation campaigns and analyze results.
- Document modeling methodology, assumptions, and validation results for traceability and compliance with engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in systems modeling and simulation, with strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
- Solid programming skills in C++ and Python for model integration and automation.
- Experience with model‑based design, verification, and validation processes.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork abilities.
