Implementation Engineer
Lead complex system integration projects, designing and implementing API and cloud solutions on Linux/Windows platforms using AWS and Python to support mission-critical national security operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy integrated solutions across heterogeneous environments, ensuring seamless data flow between legacy and modern systems.
- Architect and implement RESTful APIs, message queues, and data pipelines to support real‑time mission data exchange.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define integration requirements, validate performance, and troubleshoot production issues.
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS) and on‑premise servers, applying best practices for security, scalability, and reliability.
- Document integration designs, test plans, and operational procedures for knowledge transfer and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in systems integration, with a strong focus on API and cloud technologies.
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows administration, networking concepts, and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway) and integration patterns.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and strong communication abilities.
