Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full systems engineering lifecycle for high‑impact defense projects, from concept through delivery.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Define and enforce engineering processes, standards, and best practices to meet stringent security and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to capture, analyze, and validate system requirements, ensuring alignment with mission objectives.
- Manage risk, schedule, and budget, proactively identifying and mitigating technical and programmatic challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of systems engineering experience in a defense or aerospace environment.
- Proven leadership in managing large, complex engineering teams.
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, risk management, and secure software development.
- Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
