Engineering Manager
Lead a multidisciplinary systems engineering team, driving architecture, requirements, and risk management for defense programs while ensuring compliance with DoD standards and delivering on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of systems engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
- Define and manage system architecture, requirements, and verification plans for complex defense projects.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including hardware, software, and test teams, to ensure integrated solutions.
- Implement Agile and model‑based development processes to improve schedule predictability and product quality.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks, maintaining compliance with Secret clearance and DoD regulations.
- Represent the engineering organization in customer and senior leadership briefings, providing status updates and technical trade‑offs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years of systems engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or manager role.
- Proven experience with DoD acquisition processes, requirements management tools, and model‑based systems engineering.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior technical and program leadership.
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.
