About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the systems engineering effort for the NASAMS program, defining architecture, requirements, and integration plans.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams to develop and validate system performance, ensuring alignment with DoD standards and customer needs.
- Oversee configuration management, change control, and documentation to maintain system integrity throughout the development lifecycle.
- Drive integration and test activities, including system‑level verification, validation, and troubleshooting of complex defense hardware and software.
- Ensure compliance with security clearance requirements and maintain rigorous adherence to DoD security protocols.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in systems engineering for defense or aerospace programs, preferably with air defense or missile systems.
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, integration testing, and configuration management processes.
- Proficiency in using systems engineering tools (e.g., DOORS, MATLAB/Simulink, or equivalent).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance.
